How it works

From your statement to a better-fit structure.

Understand what you pay today. Analyze it. Explain it. Compare the options. Then you decide. That’s the whole process.

Step 1

Discovery call

A short call, booked through Calendly. We’ll ask how you take payments (in person, keyed, online, invoices), your approximate monthly card volume, your current processor and equipment, and what matters most to you.

02
Step 2

Send a recent statement

Email one recent monthly statement, all pages. Two or three months is even better if your sales are seasonal. Don’t send card numbers or login credentials.

What to send (and what not to)

03
Step 3

Analysis & side-by-side review

We calculate your effective rate, break down your fee structure, equipment and recurring costs, identify your pricing model, and compare Traditional, Split Cash Discount, and Full Cash Discount (Lower It, Share It, Shift It) using your numbers. Any figures shown are estimates based on your statement and subject to the final approved program.

04
Step 4

Application & setup

If you choose to move forward, we help you complete the PaybotX merchant application and gather what underwriting needs (typically business and owner information plus banking details for deposits). We also coordinate equipment or software setup. Approval, pricing, and timing are determined through underwriting and program rules and aren’t guaranteed.

Step 5

Training, go live & ongoing support

We help set up your terminal or software, signage and receipts if you use a cash discount program, and staff training. After you go live, you’ll have a direct point of contact for questions.

Step one can be a statement.

Skip ahead: email one recent statement and we’ll start the review. We’ll set up a short call to walk through it.

Where your fees go

Every card payment takes the same trip.

Each stop can add cost. Some of it is set by the card networks; some is set by your provider. Your statement shows both, if you know where to look.
